Bocco fire now over 400 acres. Started by idiots shooting exploding targets at unofficial gun range near Wolcott. This is why we can't have nice things.

This is why I always pull overy on the road and take a picture of shooters licence plates. Never know when that information will become valueable.

So once you get their plates, what do you do with them?

Was wondering the same thing myself, guess I can't go shooting on public land without concern of some creeper running reconnaissance on me.

I hang on to the photos in case there is a fire or incident in the area. Information could come in useful if there is a press release.

Typically as well if I see people shooting trees I sure I take photos of the shooters and a licence plate while ensuring my presence is noted. My hope is that it sends a message.

I'm sure I have at some point, but I don't need to have been there to know I don't agree with your "Forrest Recon" practices. If you witness someone committing a crime, then absolutely document, if safe to do so, but snapping photos "just in case", absolutely absurd.

I don't mean to sound rude, but tell that to the person who was shot in the forest a few weeks back off Rampart Range Road when nobody stood up like a man.
