Default Advantage of driving on the left side of the road.

You could drink with your right hand easier. And reach for your weapon faster.
Still being able to signal your turns and work the wipers and mirrors.

Since I drive with my left hand almost exclusively (drive stick most of my life) I do most of this already. I just hold the wheel with my knee while drinking and signaling.

Oh yes,...the knee technique is a valuable skill for momentary steering control, though not recommended for anything more than a handful of seconds and certainly not while in a curve...

Basically unenforceable with the current situation on the front range...

A person shall not drive a motor vehicle in the passing lane of a highway if the speed limit is sixty-five miles per hour or more unless such person is passing other motor vehicles that are in a nonpassing lane or turning left, or unless the volume of traffic does not permit the motor vehicle to safely merge into a nonpassing lane.

I'm not sure it's even in a Colorado driving style guide. Sure doesn't seem to be enforced since so many seem to camp in the left lane.

I don't think it applies to drivers from Wyoming. At least Wyoming drivers don't seem to think so.

The Brits (and the rest of the world) drove on the left for reasons of access to weapons (for a predominantly right-handed world) when needed. Two-thirds of the world began to change to the right in the past couple of centuries for practical reasons (new vehicles and less and less need for a weapon at the ready on the roads in general).

Here is a good summary: http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglopheni...its-drive-left
