I'm not for heavy emissions regulation. I always have a car or two with collectors plates. However, you'll are being dishonest if you think modern cars don't help the air. If I'm on the road and a classic or 1981 F150 is in front of me it STINKS. And please think back to a covered parking structures, with your eyes burning. I like advancements. I hate the regulations that stop you from hot rodding your own property. Some cars actually have cleaner exhaust than the air they take in. That is awesome and I like that. But let the market drive it.

I grew up in SoCal prior to any emissions requirements...and it was painful. I do know today that I can smell raw gas coming out of a classic when I'm behind them in traffic. Imagine when every vehicle out there was doing the same? Modern vehicles are very clean. CO2 is plant food and required for life on this planet.

The LA Basin is almost impossible to keep clear, as the prevailing winds just stack everything up against the mountains.

I personally believe that all of this global warming/climate change hoopla is simply to give people something to be afraid of. Governments love that.
Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

I can see that, but there's a point of diminishing returns. You could probably make cars that only put out 1% of the current level of pollution, but cost over 100 grand to build.

Yes some pollution regulations are good, but we have plenty now. Making too many does nothing but make people suffer (and ultimately cause them to stick with older, worse polluting cars).

Well that's probably part of it, but most of it is to give them an excuse to control energy use, and thus control everything (including our precious bodily fluids).

Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

If the fanatics hadn't forced the removal of lead from gas you'd never have that issue. Especially with an average of 90 octane ratings gas availability.

Butt Noooooooooooo The Lead's bad for you and the environmental cry babies fucked that joy ride up, but good.

Damn i miss those 97 high octane days. With that nice red colored Sunoco gas in my 62, 389 powered, bonny rag top .

They need to go after the gross polluters, those oil burners I get stuck behind at the light (and they're not classics).
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."
