They charge me for my vehicles weight. Its a normal pickup with a diesel engine but gets singled out as something worth extra costs. And they charge an extra $10 at the DMV for the engine type and just because they charged it twice and liked it so much they kept it there for 2 years now. A dozer is starting to sound like a good idea but do they make them with 4 doors? One might not be alone in there.

hickindooper just had to get one more SLAP to the Colo. residents on his way out. I'll be glad when he's gone but I'm nervous about who we might end up to replace him.
Thankfully I live in a county that doesn't require emissions testing, ......yet. Won't be long before that gets changed, I'm guessing.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.

Anyone want to place wagers on whether or not my 1998 Ford F150 daily driver will pass emissions? What about my 1990 F150 work truck (in-line 6) that likes to runs rich?

Last year I sold my high-mileage vehicle for a low-mileage commuter truck. I have an acquaintance who got wrecked physically in a head-on collision, so decided to trade mileage for momentum.

I wish this would go into effect before the election in November. That might help assure that the sodomite doesn't win.

What do you expect? Liberal policies are utopian lunacy. Get out and vote in November. Fed-up with the crap. The magazine limit makes me mad as hell. Still fuming over this when it was passed.

Is there evidence that California's smog laws have helped their air quality? I use to be into cars and always hated the California smog BS.

However, there are a lot of people moving here. If we're going to end up with tighter smog laws one way or the other anyway, I'd rather it happen before our own little smog cloud gets any worse.

It has been shown several times that the emissions laws on the Front Range do very little to effect the air quality along the Front Range.

Is it that the restrictions are misplaced (like so many other laws) or that they aren't restrictive enough?

I don't want to give the impression I want more restrictions, because I don't. At the same time, I'm not willing to write something off just because it is proposed by someone I don't agree with politically. So I'm open minded to ideas.
