Seeing a breaking alert on the TV at the bar. What's going on here?

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4)– Police in Westminster rushed to a business district Thursday afternoon on reports of a shooting that possibly had more than one victim.

The shooting happened at 5150 W. 80th Avenue in Westminster, that’s near 80th and Sheridan. CBS Denver is reporting two children and two adults were shot. An update on their injuries wasn't made public at the time this article was written.

Police have cordoned off the parking lot of the Comfort Dental office as well as the neighboring parking lot of the Cedarwood Square Office Complex.

Neighboring businesses told CBS4 that there was a lot of police activity in the parking lot.

I would have been safe...I would NEVER set foot in a Comfort Dental. Still, sorry to hear about the fatalities.

Didn’t happen inside any dental office, outside on the street/parking lot. Still haven’t heard confirmation of fatalities..

Person of interest in the black Toyota just taken into custody on I-25 in/near Castle Rock.

One child dead, mom and other child Critical, male that is allegedly unassociated with female and kids expected to survive.

Explains why there were 35 police vehicles surrounding that one car in Castle Rock on my drive home yesterday.

Most likely scenario in my mind: DV involving ex/estranged husband/boyfriend/baby daddy. Male that was shot might be peripherally involved, or just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
