Now I know that everyone who votes democrat isn't a socialist. But what democrat voters don't seem to understand is even when they vote for a not-so-radical-leftist-democrat they're still supporting a party that has gone off the rails to the left. There is no "moderate" democrat party any longer. The democrat party is now so far left that it isn't recognizable as one of the two main political parties from just 10 years ago.

This was obvious to Democrat Senator Zell Miller who spoke out at the NRC in 2004. There used to be pro-gun conservative democrats, but they've been shoved out of the party in favor of an extreme platform that demands unity.
