    I thought you had to both own the magazines AND have them in your possession IN Colorado before the ban to be legal?

    Yeah you can't bring them in no matter how old they are. Article said he was from Bama so that means he is visiting here on vacation or something along those lines.

    Question is did he use 30 rounders or did he use 15 rounders that were not enough and he had to use a second rifle to defend himself?

    If he used 30 rounders, I would like to see DougCo Sheriff come out and say that they are not enforcing that law and they sent the guy on his way.

    Either way, this adds to the proof of how stupid the mag law is.

    Nope, nothing in the law requires that they were already in colorado. Only that you owned them continuously since before the ban.
