"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"

My parents went to a conference in Orlando a few weeks ago. In the same convention center was a MLP convention. My parents had never heard of bronies. The comments my dad had regarding them were like something out of a King of the Hill script, with a mix of renderings from characters Hank to Boomhauer to Dale Gribble.

Was explained to me that some want the nostalgia of innocent times (80s) and sexualize/fetish because of their attraction to femininity from that time vs. the options today. Because they are cartoons it is "safe."
I don't get it.
I'm sure just like being silly and ironic (being a man and liking girls toys).

They want the innocence of their youth and thus sexualize cartoon horses? Perhaps we do need the MIRVs to slam down...
Whatever happened to normal pubescent crushes like Tiffani Amber Thiessen from Saved by the Bell, and Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice or Lucas?
