Can you imagine what the next person on the short-list of nominees is thinking about now? We're eventually gonna get to the point that republican presidents will be looking at municipal night court judges to fill seats because no one else will take the job simply because they don't want to be subjected to democrat character assassinations. They sure as hell won't want it for their families, either.

There's a lot of truth to this. I'm going strictly from memory of the statutes in CO so I could be wrong. But I think the behavior she described is basically just Class 1 Misdemeanor unwanted sexual contact in CO. One of you current guys feel free to correct me.

This is just memory from what I've read today, but as it pertains to the original Ford accusation, worst case scenario would be "attempted rape", which at the time of the alleged offense was a misdemeanor carrying a one year statute of limitations.

About 80 minutes ago, the Women's March account called Jeff Flake a "rape apologist."

After Flake did what they wanted and brokered the one week delay. This is why these people need to be voted out. It isn't so much principle at stake as the ability to navigate Lib duplicity and win.

Correct me if I'm off on this, but didn't Murkowski lose a primary a while back and then win the in thr general as a write-in, or force a recount and come up with a bunch of votes that "got missed" originally? I seem to remember it being one of those but can't recall which offhand...

The problem these Senators have is trying to read how this Kavanaugh thing will complication their elections. And they won't know until midterms (even if they aren't up, they'll know). They are going to have to vote first.
