Yeah, the goal posts are moving as usual. And the Dems are visibly shifting strategy too. This weekend every Dem that gave an interview to anyone hit on two talking points:

1) His recent testimony made it clear, Kavanaugh is obviously an angry unhinged man and not fit to sit on SCOTUS.

2) That if they find out that he drank more in college then he suggested in his testimony, then he lied under oath and can't serve. And magically on queue, a "witness" came forward to say he saw the Judge drink A LOT more in college than he said.

They are obviously in the process of dropping the arguement about the sexual assault claims (because they know there is no there, there) and moving the goal posts to his demeanor and drinking/lying. They are done with Dr Ford and have basically thrown her out now.

Lots of updates, no way to post them all! The fight has shifted to 100% narrative. I think Dims see a bad week ahead when the FBI comes back.

They have nearly completely abandoned "BelieveHer" narrative and are focused on temperament; anger, drinking, and ice throwing (alleged bar fight that results in no charges but one police report).

I don't trust any sources I don't know, but this paper has been verified.

I believed Ford was mentally ill and she was being used. I think they'll find three decades of "issues" and "treatment." This is a new twist though.

If you read the excerpted text you will see they hacked memory to try and treat depression.

You may recall Debra Ramiez (accuser #2) said her accusation was the result of six days of "memory assessment." She did not state if that was a coached or solo exercise. Accusation #1 and #2 could share memory manipulation. And this would explain why Ford seemed "emotionally credible" last week but couldn't connect emotion to fact.

... all have remained 100% consistent. Libs were hoping testimony, especially that of Judge, would move and offer support for the smear. It hasn't.

Keyser's testimony remains the most damaging to Ford's credibility. As her best friend in HS, no avg Joe can believe wouldn't have heard about the assault.

NBC News noted there were differences in Swetnick’s initial statement and her comments to the outlet, notably her assertion that Kavanaugh spiked punch at the parties so that groups of boys could rape girls.

Swetnick did not confirm that she saw Kavanaugh spike punch, but simply said she “saw him around the punch containers.”

“I don’t know what he did,” she told NBC.

She also appeared to backtrack on her suggestion that Kavanaugh was involved in gang rapes, saying she only saw him congregated with other boys outside of rooms. When Snow asked if she thought the boys were gathered in order to rape girls in the rooms, Swetnick replied “yes.”

Swetnick (#3) is falling apart fast!

This has me (still) believing that Michael Avenatti hired her just for the smear and probably got her name from Katz. People are still thinking Avenatti got trolled by 4chan. If so, he needed a victim and fast. Katz would have needed to defend the smear in advance of Ford's testimony last week.

This connection and timing isn't coincidental.

People are angry but remember, Swetnick offered a declaration not an affidavit. She can lie her head off in a declaration without any enforcement of perjury (declarations are not sworn to an authority). Avenatti really wanted that to look like, and be respected like, an affidavit.

My own thoughts (no links to support): If Ford #1 and Ramirez #2 are linked via memory "recovery" and Ford #1 and Swetnick #3 are linked via Katz, then the fingerprints of a Dim working group are on all three.

These were engineered to be disparate events that told the story of Kavanaugh having a serious problem with women. But they are related. If this is confirmed the people behind the smear should be revealed.

If the GOP/Trump let this drop we'll be left with an Anita Hill narrative: "He did it, we just couldn't prove it because Republicans wouldn't investigate and blocked us."

The Democrats opened a can of worms when they created a new standard of requesting an FBI investigation of any credible accusations. Ben Shapiro nailed that one effectively with a huge list of credible accusations against everyone from Maxine Waters to Diane Feinstein that I don't think they want full FBI investigations on. In addition, they're being hoisted on their petard WRT Ellison's assault and battery of his ex-girlfriend and Trump skewered Little Dickie Blumenthal over his insinuations against Kavanaugh. I hope McConnell and company keep pushing on the Democrat inconsistencies all month.

I still feel bad for Kavanaugh and his family having to go through this garbage and the character assassination from the Democrats but allowing the Dems to unload like they did in the hearings and after is creating a rich theater for demoralizing their base and rallying the Republican base during October.
