Default Need advice on custom wood cutting to fix a swing set

So the wind storm of 2018 annihilated our swing set that uses cedar wood. Really there's only 3 or 4 pieces that I need replaced. I more or less have either the measurements or the piece itself it just might be splintered in one spot. I don't have the tools to cut wood to exact specifications including length, width, and a few angled cuts. My question is does anyone know a place that can do it? I know Lowe's or home depot can cut the length but I think that's about it. Any advice is appreciated. The company says they can send me the parts but it's now been 3 months and they still give me no answer on when or if they can even find them. Literally no info and I'm tired of waiting. Thanks all.

Have you looked on Craigslist to find a similar swing set? Used. They seem to go pretty cheap and then you can build from that.

Buy that 10" compound miter saw for sale on here, use it, then sell it for the same price on Craigslist when you're done.

Use simpson straps to repair wood and hold it together, some are straight, others angled etc.

    Thats good!!!!

I would see if any one you know has a 10 or 12in miter saw that you can borrow. If not I have one you can borrow but were kinda far apart. I would deconstruct the swing set and make exact copys of the broken peices. Shouldn't be to hard there are not many complicated cuts on a swing set. If we were closer I would swing by and give you a hand but traffic is a nightmare down that way.

Forgot to add like another poster said I would add simpson brackets to reinforce it so you dont have this problem again. They are only a few bucks and will make it 10 times stronger.

If you want to come up north, I can either cut them for you or lend you a compound miter to do it yourself.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
