    Default Pork Tenderloin Sanwhich

Looking for a pork tenderloin sandwich in the Denver. Must be from a local business and not a chain fast food establishment.
What would be nice is the one similar to BJ Velvet Freeze in Colorado Springs as this was a childhood staple for me.

Big +1 on Velvet Freeze. As a kid, it was less than 2 blocks from my house, so once they opened for the season, it was pretty much a required stop on my way home from school every day. Been by a couple times this year for crunch cones.
Comply in public, Conduct in private.

I also miss the ice cream. The Boston shake was my favorite.

    Ummmm Ummmm,
I would also like to find a place with a good pork tenderloin sammich.

Haven’t had a decent one since I left KS. There was this little hole in the wall restaurant in old downtown Olathe called The Mustache Cup, that had a tenderloin sammich that was pounded out so thin that it was larger than the plate it came on. Even cut into quarters and stacked it was 1/2 again as big as the bun.
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

Sorry that I can't help you in your quest for a good tenderloin sandwich in the Denver area. I've only ever had ice cream at BJ's but now you've got me intrigued about this sandwich.

While there are several chain stores selling ice cream here in the Springs, whenever I'm in the mood for ice cream, and BJ's is open for the season, I head across town to their store to get it.

My grandkids live here in town and my grandson (the oldest grandchild) is 3yo. He'll be spending the night with us in a couple of weeks and my wife and I are already planning on taking him out for ice cream. Of course, it'll be BJ's Velvet Freeze!

Another great place in COS near my parents house is Rizuto's Ice Cream Inc. off Barnes and Oro Blanco.

My grandson will be spending the night in a couple of weeks so I asked my daughter & SIL if they minded if I took him to BJ's for ice cream. My daughter and son (who was also present) went to school @ Dougherty just down the block. They told me that for the same price as BJ's we could go to Rizuto's and get a serious amount of ice cream in the cone (LOTS of ice cream) - but you don't get the ambiance of BJ's. Looks like I might have to try Rizuto's instead (especially since it's right behind New China Kitchen where we always get our Chinese take-out.

Still need to try BJ's pork tenderloin sandwich though.

New China Kitchen is great as well. So is Louie's pizza across the street. Funny I went to Doherty as well. My parents are off Crimson Circle South and Oro Blanco.

Its sad places like above dont exist in the Denver area. All we have is Little Man and Sweet Cow which is too hipster for me.

Ya got me curious, so I Googly'd it. Westword has an article about these sammiches at Midwestern Saloon at 3961 Tennyson St., Freshcraft at 1530 Blake St., Masterpiece Kitchen at 84 Rampart Rd. In Lowry, and Steuben's Food Service at 523 East 17th Ave.

Do your own due diligence - and report back here!

Sorry too yuppie and too hipster for this millennial, looking for a more mom and pop place that has been around a very long time.
