To add to what Skip said above we would've NEVER known about this if Hillary had been elected. Thankfully (I guess), we now know the FBI is the most corrupt law enforcement organization in the history of our country, overseen by the corrupt DoJ. We know this now thanks in large part due to what congress has uncovered during this investigation. There were those that said this pales in comparison to the Watergate scandal. No, it doesn't. This dwarfs the Watergate scandal. They aren't even in the same league. The media, the FBI, Obama, Hillary, the DoJ, the DNC...were all conspiring to affect the outcome of a presidential election using espionage, fabricated evidence and corrupt gov't officials and organizations to cover their tracks. The protective layer of corruption that protected people like Strozk and others is so complete and goes to such high levels that he feels he's untouchable. This is the biggest scandal in the history of the country and we still have the majority of the national media that won't report on it because it undermines their anti-Trump, anti-conservative, anti-American agenda.

On top of that we have members on this forum that say they actually support Strzok's actions in this hearing all because "fuck the federal government". Anyone who knows what Strozk (and others) did under color of law in an attempt to undermine the lawful election of a president and watches Strozk's behavior in that hearing and says, "I,m for anyone that stands up for themselves in front of congress fucks, left, right, good , bad", is completely separated from reality in my opinion. I'm stunned by that sort of comment re: this situation.

BG -- if I may, I believe it has to do with someone becoming jaded about such consistent abuse of authority that they lose sight of legitimate authority entirely -- even when exercised by that same body which jaded them to begin with and remains valid even when illicit.

It's the same mentality/issue as those who do not care when a good, honest, loyal, fair street cop catches a bullet in the face simply because the crooked, dirty, illegal activities cops have ruined them on all police.

It's the same mentality/issue as becoming an avowed communist, anti-American former soldier because you realize how utterly unnecessary the Iraq war was (know a few of these guys).

The irony is that such an attitude of anti-authoritarianism is, I believe, actually borne of an innate and sincere desire for authority which is good. But that requires humility and obedience when the violator does the right thing.

The oil company CEO being brought in to explain oil prices is an especially good example since MOST oil "profits" are set by, and go straight to the government.

I had just been listening to the hearing. Finally got around to watching it. Strozk is a freaking psychopath.
