A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
If he did it WOW
The enemy of my enemy...... Is just one more set of targets to engage
Pretty fucked up, 12 y.o. and likely gonna spend the rest of his life in prison. Or at least a large part of it.
My initial reaction is one of wondering what the parents were subjecting the kid to. Lock him in a cage with no food for weeks like the other kids in the news these days?
I mean, the days when "he was listening to Judas Priest, so that must be why he killed Mr and Mrs Sado Masochist" have long passed.
"The family is described as deeply religious and active in their church, which is located just a block from their house. They had seven children in all and home-schooled them."
Also, the kid shot them and then called 911 to report it.
The kids was being abused until proven otherwise, IMO.
How awful.
If the boy did it, there's got to be some serious reasons for his actions.
Just awful.
Sounds like a case of abuse, maybe even sexual abuse. He stabbed his younger brother in the groin and shot him. Man, I am at a loss for words, that's just awful. I've seen kids and parents that you never would suspect that something is going on, and it comes out later. Much later.
Beyond tragic. It's hard to imagine what would drive a kid to do this.

Boy, I bet everyone was just wishing that he drew stick figures instead.
"There are no finger prints under water."
Story is a little sticky.... HAHA. you guys crack me up!
Sad situation. Hopefully more details will come out after the investigation.
That being said, there have been more and more cases of kids just "doing what they wanted" citing a lack of parental involvement in their childs lives or their parents not establishing the NEEDED parental role (Be a PARENT, not a friend). Like that kid in Nebraska (I think) who shot his mom because she told him to quit playing on the PS3 and do his homework.
