Anyone else fed up with the NFL?

I was a big Broncos/NFL fan but with these jerk-off players taking a knee during the national anthem, I'm done with them. Their ratings are down and continuing to drop. GOOD!

The spineless group of managers in the front office of the NFL and right here in Dove Valley must be kicking themselves for not making a stance when they should have. Now this vile act has spread to elementary schools where it is tolerated because of the left PC bullcrap, nice work guys!

I wonder how understanding Dick Butkus would be if this had happened when he was coaching. These privileged crybabies would be out on the street.

The other day my wife and I were driving home and she randomly goes, "I'm so glad you don't watch football." Why would I? I hate it. I never got to choose what was on at grandma's house cus my uncle and grandfather were glued to the screen while a bunch of nearly retarded man-children hit each other in full pads. As one of our visiting fellow Boy Scouts from the Isle of Man said when he saw American football for the first time, "Pads? what a bunch of girls!"

Dick Butkus was never a coach in the NFL. He was a player for Chicago Bears. Did you mean Mike Ditka? Think you are preaching to the choir here. You won't find many here disagreeing with you about the NFL.

I stopped caring about the NFL back in the mid 90s, and I guess the recent events don't bother me much because my expectations of those people are so low. Although, it is really sad that this country is filled with people that don't respect our nation and what it means to be so fortunate that we are a part of it.

I'm in the same boat... I was ultimately inspired when Tim Kennedy Tweeted that he was no longer watching football. I had been a die-hard Broncos fan since I was a kid. Not this year. I consider sports (mostly the NHL, but used to be NFL) an escape from all the BS and the politics. Now they're getting anti-cop and political in football, so I'm done. And honestly, I really don't miss it. A bunch of overpaid Neanderthals who probably wouldn't have graduated college (save a few) if they weren't so damn good at their game. They think they're relevant, they get paid MILLIONS to play a damn game.

Yup. I watch politicised sports once every four years - the Olympics. Not gonna watch politicised domestic sports. Perhaps they should start the SJW league. For progressives to watch. As long as it's free, that is.
