The first thing I think of anytime there is a mass shooting like this is: Fuck! I wonder how the anti gunners will use this as an excuse to ban something...
This was a horrible and tragic loss of human life, don't get me wrong. It is, however, irrelevent how these people were killed. It doesn't matter what weapon the psycho used. Even though none of the victims were wearing body armour (why would they be?), I'd almost bet my left nut the liberal whiney-bitch gun grabbers will be laying prosrate in the street crying for a ban on the so called "cop killer" pistols.
I honestly had no interest in owning the FN 5.7 untill now. Knowing they'll try to ban it makes me want to get one now though...
I looked into them, but they are over priced IMO. Maybe it's just because I can't afford $950 for a handgun.

Do you think this shooting spree had anything to do with this guy being a Muslim?
Or, is this guy just a garden variety crazy?
Better yet, does membership in the former automatically imply membership in the latter group?
Just a couple of things I was thinking about....
I'm surprised (and pleased) that it took this long for this to be brought up on this website. I've read the posts that he supposedly posted on the internet, and I don't think he's crazy for saying what he said. Right now the news keeps reporting that people who knew him claim that he was combative about the two current wars and often disagreed with people who supported the wars. I haven't heard anything that has really made me think that he is some fundamentalist, but he certainly sounds like he has a different set of beliefs than I do.

This is BULLSHIT. I totally dissagree that his religion didn't come into play as a reason for all of this. When the hell is this country going to wake the fuck up and start looking at Islam in the same light as being a KKK member? We are a nation of religious tolerance, but why should we be tolerant of an intolerant religious ideology, who's main objective is to want dead all of us westerners just because of who we are and how we live our day to day lives?!
To hell with all of the camel jockey rag head SOB's. I say we start rounding them up in concentration camps just like we did with the japanese in WWII. It's time to put the shoe on the other foot and stop worrying about what's politically correct, only to ignore our own saftey.
