So right now, they are having Obama read stuff about the soldiers. I don't like how it is sounding, but I can't blame Obama for it. It is just like when you go to any other funeral, and the priest or who ever has like 2 days to sit down with the family and listen to stories.

I can't offer up a better solution, but I always find it irritating when some stranger who is a good speaker, says a bunch of hastily prepared remarks about the passing of someone they never even met.

He is not some stranger. He is their Commander in Chief and President of the United States.

precisely. it just shows how ill prepared he is for anything to do with the military. I think one requirement to be the POTUS is military service. That at least shows you are willing to die for your country.
on top of that legitimate proof of US citizenship is another.

and lastly I would love to see a single term limit of 6 years. a year from now ads will start popping up on the TV telling us why we should vote for obama again. he will waste time and energy fighting off a replacement when he should be working to fix the problems of the country.

Interesting. I'll think about this tonight at home. Knee jerk reaction is that this idea has some merit.

I have been thinking/preaching this for a long time. I also want to see senators/congressman term limited as well. that will bring some "change"

You know what irritates me about this whole Ft. Hood thing? How they keep referring to this guy as the suspect. What the hell? Just because someone hasn't been to court yet, doesn't mean they didn't do it.

I think its time for the peaceful and tolerant Muslims to prove they are the majority and root out the extremest jihadist and punish them middle eastern style. I know there out there! Who has more members? Tolerant or extreme?

To be honest, the last thing I want to see is Obama "working to fix the problems of the country." Please, please, let him get on the campaign trail tomorrow and not do another thing.
