I'd like to try USPSA. The ECO USPSA website says I need to get a card, and they generally prefer that is done before match day.
Where do I find a schedule and locations of these? They are not on the schedule page of the website.

See if you can call the location of the match that you'd like to attend as classes are often done immediately before a match. Also, I'm under the impression that if you've participated in another style of pistol competition the same year, they'll let you shoot. I'd call for sure though.

The Official section policy is that you have to take the USPSA safety session, or be USPSA classified. IDPA, NRA, etc. is not a substitute. Most clubs will offer the safety session on the day of the match, but you should check with the MD prior to make sure.
What match are you looking at going to first?
It is funny, especially since the guys complaining about it are not even in CO, and it does not apply to them. I'll be teaching at CRC W, Th and Fr. next week, if you have a half an hour in the afternoon any of those days, be happy to run you through it.
I appreciate that. Let me look at my schedule Monday and see if I can make it work. It's about an hour and 15 minutes away from work.
