Participating in a shooting match sounds like fun, but I've never even been to one. I'm not sure where to start I guess.
Any suggestions on one to attend near the Springs that would be fun for a first timer?

One of Hoser's cus they're usually low stress and run well.
There's also Pikes Peak Precision Rifle matches: https://www.pikespeakprecision.com/schedule/
I've never been to one since they are held on one of my work days. It's my understanding the guys who run them are good to go though.

I'm glad this topic came up. I've been meaning to get out to some of Hoser's matches for some time to see how things run. I figured I wasn't the only one.
