Good luck to Richard and Gloria of APEX. Hope it is a GREAT sales day for you folks. If I still lived in Colorado, I would be seeing them today.

Ok, sitting outside the event. Opens at 10 and I got here at 9:30.
Was hoping to get a peek inside to see if it was worth my admission.
I will report if I go in.

Well I went in, it was organized, little spread out but clean. Some new vendors and some familiar faces. I did not make any purchases because I was looking for something specific.
I did get in for $4 though. I did not realize it until later when I went to the store to buy a soda. The lady in the cash cage/ticket booth (new) gave me back a bunch of ones and there was a fiver in there so I got back $16.
There were a lot of “Gunshow special” prices but but nothing spectacular. Maybe a Heritage.22 Single Action revolver for $149 that looked fun.
Over all for a Sunday morning it was fun . No Tanner but still fun.

I went Saturday for a bit. Overall it was ok. It felt kinda slow but I guess with the new promoter and all it'll take a bit for it to build back up.
Did get to stop by and say hi to Richard and Gloria. I think that they are the biggest draw to that show, at least for me anyways
Did see a couple of things I wouldn't have minded bringing home but the wife would have made me walk home.

Thank you for the kind words!
We always enjoy visiting with our customers.
Everyone has a different area of interest and so there is always something new to learn.
It took quite a while to set up, just adjusting to the new circumstances.
I passed on some good deals, figured I should give the paying customers a chance at a bargain.
WISH I HAD seen the Armalite marked M-16 mag with the "waffle" body!
That I would have added to the "accumulation" on my own shelf at home.

I believe there is a show in the Springs this weekend. "I believe...". That is how poorly it is advertised . Anyone go?

I did. Friend gave an VIP pass so I got in free. It was OK but nothing I was looking for. I’m a lookie loo. Was out getting my sons phone repaired so I figured I drop in. Standard prices.

(Yes, I know it isn't in the scope of the thread title, but)

There's going to be a Tanner show in Colorado Springs next weekend.
    13/14 Oct. 2018
Penrose Events Center, 1045 Lower Gold Camp Road
    starts 9AM Sat and Sun.

I can't remember that we ever had a Tanner show in town.
