    Default Summers in Wyoming

Just an FYI but the weather in Wyoming is so much nicer than it is around here. At least in the summer.

I’ve been blessed (cursed?) with spending a little time up there the past couple of weeks. Pretty sure when I woke up this morning it was under fifty degrees. I don’t think it got above 74 degrees before I left around two. Got home and decided to cut my tiny front lawn. Took maybe twenty minutes and it made me hot and sweaty.

Might have to volunteer for more trips to Wyoming during the summer months.

    Where in Wyoming?
I started in the oil patch near Baggs in the 60's and it was hot, dusty, and windy.
I loved the weekly trips to Craig to do laundry.

I went to HS in Casper. It was frequently in the upper 90s in the summer. Then it would be winter. Most miserable place in the world in the winter. Between the bitter, bitter cold and the non-stop hurricane winds it was unbearable. I'd love to live in WY...but there's no way I could tolerate the miserable weather.

It hasn't exactly been murder down here for the last 2 weeks. Coincidence?

This is funny. I'm in Douglas/Casper right now. It was hot late this afternoon.

Headed for the Baggs area that was mentioned in a few weeks.

I like lots of parts of WY. Good thing considering how often I am up here.

I took the family to Wyoming once and they enjoyed it as well. For as often as I've been there, I've never actually stayed there. I've driven through once, and worked day trips in Cheyenne a few times. I've actually spent more time in Nebraska and Kansas City now that I think about it.

I was looking at land up there recently. My family is selling our family cabin in Tabernash, so my wife and I were thinking about getting our own land somewhere. Cheyenne is about the same drive time as Tabernash.
