    Well, they haven't really said anything new so far 1.5 hours in to it . The ultimate issue is whether or not it can be transmitted to humans via consumption. I would like to see if there have been any studies on the predator and scavenger community in high cwd areas and if there is any proof of transmission outside the deer family.

    This is one thing that annoys me about Rogan. He tends to nod along with whomever comes on his show. Back when he had Ted Nugent on, Ted basically had him convinced that CWD was a myth.

    Being agreeable, to a point, helps lubricate conversion for sure. At least he's open about the way Nugent stated the problem and brought it up to give these guys the opportunity for a counter point.

    I like it that Joe Rogan seems to be curious about learning many different things. He doesn't bring people onto the show to have a shouting match. He wants to know the what, where, when, how, & why...and you can come along for the ride. Or don't. I've found several of his videos very interesting and educational.

    I'm not a fan of British comedian Russell Brand, but I have watched 2 of his YouTube interviews with Jordan Peterson that were very interesting and insightful. I love it when people of differing views can really have conversations without it becoming a shouting match.

    Long form pod casting is replacing long form journalism and it is superior in most ways, IMO. It reaches FAR, FAR more people, and often times there is some back and forth to ask questions that readers would usually have.

    I agree. The web has provided access where it used to be primarily controlled by the MSM.

    I'll drop this link here to make it easy to access as an example I mentioned above;

    Very interesting to listen to. Especially the part where they know CWD will not transfer to mice. And mice have the same type of cells we do. So that is pretty good news....except for the one strain in Canada that transferred to the mice. That scared me. Then how the disease will transform and adapt. So it is a possibility this disease is in the earlier stages of transforming and its possible to transfer to humans. Then even if a human were positive for CWD, if could stay dormant for a very long time.

    We could easily have thousands of people that have the disease that is dormant. Very scary to think about.

    The really crazy thing is that the disease is not an organism. It's a simple protein. As mentioned in the Rogan interview, we're not even sure what function the normal protein has in our function. They think it's intercellular communication, but nobody knows. We're just now becoming aware of how these types of diseases work, so just imagine what we don't know.

    I drive a lot, and work at a desk when I'm not. Podcasts are great for me.

    Many people listen to podcasts at 2x or 3x speed so they don't take as long. I wouldn't be able to do that the same way as I can't skim when I read.
