    Default Recycling Help

My sister-in-law had a new thermostat installed and some other repairs done at her house.
She asked where she could recycle the mercury switch in the old thermostat and where she could recycle some little electric motors.
    Westminster manager had no idea.
    Thoughts?
    Thanks!

Her county landfill (or even city program) should have a household hazardous waste program for the mercury. Electric motors can go to any metal recycler.

Boulder County has a hazardous waste yard. Bet Westminster does too. Small but every little bit helps.

I bet you could sell the Mercury on Craigslist. Probably illegal though.

That's awesome. Keep it and float small pieces of metal in it for your friends.
