In all seriousness (dont get used to it) the side match was most likely cancelled due to a lack of match staff or dedicated strong backs.

With the more than likely crappy weather up there in the winter, hanging around until late to run a side match can really take the fun out of putting a match on.

I have not heard why. Some of the staff will be out of town. I"ll be hunting
