Cartels pay off both local and foreign military for them. Throw in (IMO) terrorist orgs willing to supply them, in exchange for passage to the U.S.

What statistical analysis did you bring to bear to determine a much higher percentage? I'm not being facetious, I'd like to know the data and reasoning behind your assessment.

    What I did is
    1. Ask the neighbor to the right of me (a liberal) - no guns
    2. Ask the neighbor to the left of me (a conservative who moved from California) - no guns
    3. Looked in the safe - yep, a gun
Looks like about 33 1/3% of households have guns.

Scientific AF! Can you convert #2?

Any polling that requires self-reporting of gun ownership, in an environment where 50% of the politicians and 100% of the media are demanding gun bans (that include confiscation/surrender), isn't going to be accurate. Add to that the casual fascism of the Left and how they are trying to doxx people and get them fired, destroy their businesses... Yeah, I'm not telling a stranger anything.

A conservative from California will reflexively answer"No" to that question without giving any hint that they're not being truthful. They've had lots of practice. It's a well honed survival skill.

I think most gun owners, like Trump voters, don't discuss such issues with people they don't know.

I sold all of my guns and now just live vicariously through you guys on the forum.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

You should start working on the one from Cali. It took like ten years but my friend from California is now super into guns. Even has an AK and AR. Though he might just be playing it close to the vest.
