They can debate the stats/facts all day long, but no one has a hurricane machine. And especially not one that targets people on skin color.
I think a bigger problem with this specific lunacy is that politicians don't want to admit is that the gov can't solve all the problems. Collectivism can't completely mitigate the consequences of a natural disaster. No one even admits this. Instead there is a real belief that the amount of FEMA funding directly correlates to the number of people who will survive.
It doesn't matter who is president, when a hurricane hits the coast, people are going to suffer and die. People die in CO every winter too.
I don't think gov can really manage the entire economy either. The success we see now is Trump taking his hands off producers and creating positive consequences for people creating value in the US. Similar to "you didn't build that," we can't credit the gov for the creation of businesses and we can only credit Trump for letting things work, not doing the actual work.
