Thinking of a 6.5 Creedmoor (or Creedmore, Creedmore, or any other spelling....).
Which of you have one, what are your opinions and experiences?

Aero precision build kit with 22" ballistic advantage barrel and YHM phantom LTA muffler. I like it. Haven't gone past 100 yds. Quarter sized 5 round groups when I'm lucky. Factory ammo.
Minimal recoil and fun to shoot. Gun is likely limited by operator, as I'm just venturing into scoped shooting vs sight plinking.
Does this fit in a standard AR lower? What are the bolt, brass, and mag options?

Thanks.

Right now if you want to sell a firearm as a manufacturer Creedmoor chambered will sell rifles. It has been well marketed.
There are better performing 6.5mm cartridges. It is a ballistic twin to the 260 Remington.
A good reason for either intermediate 6.5 is for a semi auto rifle.
All in all a decent cartridge taking advantage of the current 6.5mm craze and will fit in a short action bolt.
I have considered one a few times in a bolt action, AR-10 and M1A and shot all three.
Found it really does not fill any holes in my gun collection that is not already occupied but still a great choice.
I was looking at the AERO M5 and the PSA PA-65. I was torn between the 2

I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.
If you do not reload, you cannot get a better off the shelf cartridge. It shoots fast, flat, has lots of energy downrange and cheats wind pretty well. There are lots of flavors of ammo from several companies on the shelf right now. You would be a sucker to build/buy a 308 anymore.
If you reload there are tons of good/great calibers out there. It just depends on what you need and the platform you have.
If your post count is higher than your round count, you are a troll.
Best deal going for a while was the 200 rounds box from Sportsmans. It was like .43 a round for factory 6.5CM. Was shooting 1/2" easily out of a Tikka riding in a KRG. There no was point in reloading when shooting that stuff. Not sure if their price is still that good since I no longer have the rifle.
Definitely a winner over .308, but I do wonder about its downrange performance on big game vs something like a heavier 7mm or .300 something or other

I don't wanna be a sucker for considering .308, so how does 6.5CM compare to 7mm-08? Primarily looking at hunting out to 500yds, but most likely 200yds and under....
