Default Tell the people closest to you...

Be sure to tell your loved ones that you love them daily.

A good friend of mine dropped dead of a heart attack in Texas a couple nights ago. No warning, just said he didn't feel quite right and then hit the ground. He was an experienced ER Nurse, and even he didn't know what was happening. His wife and daughter had no clue that they weren't going to talk to him again.

Seeing Bob's thread about health issues, it can happen to anyone at anytime.

I'd be perfectly happy to find out that no one else needs this reminder, but I know I do on occasion.

Grant is right, tell the people closest to you what you mean to them frequently. They or you are too soon gone.
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

At my age I remind everyone close to me every time I see them or I'm in contact with them what they mean to me.

Sorry about your friend Grant. You are 100% right... when it's time, it's time.

We are all living on “BORROWED” time. Since I will soon hit birthday number 82, I well know that one of these days I am going to take the big trip. Last week I did make a trip to my range to fire off a few .50BMG rounds. On the last shot, my ear protector on my right side apparently pulled away from my ear by about a quarter of an inch. My right ear is still ringing. Take good care of yourselves.

I kiss and say “I love you” to both my wife and only son as they are still asleep when I leave for work.

I lost my Mom at the begining of the year and one of the hardest things to overcome (besides the would've and should've) is to not be able to hug her anymore. Hold and Express your love to the ones who matter most in your life because they can be gone before you know it

In 2003 at 47 I had a heart attack at roughy 2:30am. I was able to call 911, woke up my then 15 year old son to have him unlock the front doors and then call his mother to come pick him up. As soon as I got to the ER I insisted they call my older son who was at UNC in Greeley so I could hear his voice. Obviously I recovered but have since had more very serious health issues.

I tell them every day, even if it’s by text, how much they mean to me. Never miss a chance.
