    Default What do you do?

Ok. Thought it might be fun just to see what everyone does for a living. I know we have members from all walks of life- law enforcement, tech people, sales professionals, mechanics, etc. thought it might be fun just to see how diverse we really are here.

    I’ll kick it off.

I currently work in the natural gas industry. Eleven years as a mechanical specialist, a couple of years as a controls technician, and currently do engine reliability analysis and emissions testing.

Feel free to play along. Or not.

Safety consultant for an insurance broker. OSHA compliance, safety training, air sampling, fleet safety, property protection, etc. Also oversee a regional team of claims and analytics consultants. Any injuries, property damage or claims we can help a client prevent is money they can use to grow their business instead of paying more for insurance.

Primary focus: Industrial Communications - Oil and Gas, Water and Wastewater, WISP, and private networks.
Add ons: Solar, IT (networking, switching, etc), Construction, Tower Service, Electrical, etc.

I've been working in this field (radios) since I was in high school, and I don't see a change coming anytime soon.
Living the fall of an empire sucks!

I was, uh, one of the authors of the Port Huron Statement.--The original Port Huron Statement.
Not the compromised second draft. And then I, uh. . . Ever hear of the Seattle Seven?
And then. . . let's see, I uh--music business briefly. Roadie for Metallica. Speed of Sound Tour.
Bunch of assholes. And then, you know, little of this, little of that. My career's, uh, slowed down a bit lately.
    Obviously not a golfer.

I build bank vaults, night deposit drops, pneumatic tube systems....move and install commercial safes, atms, bullet resistant pharmacy glass, cash recyclers and anything that holds or secures money for financial institutions! Oh and my other company I have is what most here know of.....moving residential safes and lock work.
