Almost bumped the 2010 version of this, not the 2018 version... (Only sorta necro-thread this way...)

Got these from one of the guys working with me in STL last week.

~160' aiming microwave dishes. The tower itself is 295', and we are all thrilled that we don't have anything above 160'.

Zoomed in... Yes, that's one of my Steiners that is on a home built mount for aiming dishes. It makes aligning PTP links a cinch... Standing on the sidemount like this can get a little interesting. Still attached via fall arrest lanyards, but yeah...

Wow that requires multiple special skill sets.
Now, we can use that chicknorris' F=mgh equation.

I totally get that heights aren't for everyone, and I honestly won't make fun of folks for it.

The first time I went past 80' I had to take a moment, rope off, settle down, say a quick prayer that amounted to "Lord, don't let me screw up", then on I went to 180'. The highest I had been to that point was 60'.

All that said, I enjoy climbing. It's definitely a different set of challenges.

Even if you have no fear of heights, the ladders suck/hurt after awhile, and it's hard to just stop anywhere for a breather, as you're still using almost all your muscles to "relax". With nothing flat to stand on it also kills your arches if it's a long job. Props.
All true. 100% true. The only thing I would say is that having a rope access harness makes it a little easier to get settled and relax for a few minutes. But you're still 100% correct, you're still working muscles while "resting".

Long days on towers are normal. It takes a ton of energy, and you have to weigh the need for sustenance and the lack of bathrooms against each other... (Nothing worse than HAVING to climb down for facilities, just to climb back up and finish the task).

Steel shank boots help with the aching arches, but only so much. You're spending your whole day standing on .5" round bolts, .5" angle iron edges, etc, and none of them are equal height, as Foxtrot alluded to.

I've been to 230', but 260' or 295' wouldn't bother me, except that it's just that much more effort to get there and back... lol. If I don't have to go higher, I'm usually good with it.

I apparently didn't see the original posting, so I have to admit I'm lost.

Knowing that I enjoy Chick's sense of humor, I expect I would find it funny...
