9th is a big inning for the Brewers. They've launched 2 out of the park and no outs. 6-0 Brewers.

Looks like baseball is over for this year, has anybody watched the Avs so far? I found them to be playing at an impressive level for 2 games into the season.

ETA: ....and the Rockies season is over. Making it to the playoffs was unexpected, so it's good to see a smaller market team make it this far. Hopefully they can put out a fun and competitive team next year.

I didn’t say anything b/c I was born and raised in Milwaukee. I was already a lifer, so a couple of fantasy camps later...
Anyway, obviously I’m not a cubs fan, but I’ll say Tues might have been the first time in my life cheering for the Cubs. I really thought the Rox were a dangerous team. Kudos to their season.

Indeed, they look good. I’m pumped.

Neither Milwaukee or Colorado should have had any hopes of being there. They both made it fun for the fans. Nothing at all for Colorado to be ashamed of. I expect Milwaukee to join them on the couch shortly. The game is stacked against the have-nots.

Edit: I’d love to see one WS win before I die, but I probably won’t. Said that all the way back in HS. Still true.
    Obviously not a golfer.

I had hoped, given their late season heroics, a better playoff presence.

    Oh well.

Perhaps the Avs won't suck this year.
