    My 24 HR fitness membership is $29 a year. So I've never looked at others.

    I suspect I would have stayed with 24hr for that price, but mine was that per month.

    I buy my 24 fitness through Costco. I pay $400 for 2 years. It's a really good deal. I just let my membership expire after 2 years, than buy another membership through Costco. You don't have to be a member, but you do pay a little more like $ 25.

    Is that the nationwide 24hr pass for $400 or just local?

    I think it's nationwide, but limits the kind of clubs you can go to? Like I don't think you can use Southglenn or the other "SuperSports" locations?

    Also, I think you're only supposed to be able to get that deal once and some clubs won't let you "renew" those through Costco again. I have done it twice for the kids, though, so I think it depends on the club and how much the managers care about enforcing the policy. The guy I talked with shrugged his shoulders and just created a new membership for both without batting an eye.
