FYI my wife has something on her health care insurance provided by her employer (BC&BS I believe) that gives her I think $200ish per year for working out. She has the coach sign some form after each class and after so many she turns them in and they pay her out twice a year & I think the amount is $200 each time. She said that most insurance companies offer something similar but it's buried on their website usually. This way they can advertise it to attract new victims... I mean clients... but most people quickly forget about it after they're signed up or give up when they can't find it buried in the website. If you take the time to find it though it's free money.

Interesting, I'll have to check out my BCBS policy and see if they offer it.

I suspect I would have stayed with 24hr for that price, but mine was that per month.

I buy my 24 fitness through Costco. I pay $400 for 2 years. It's a really good deal. I just let my membership expire after 2 years, than buy another membership through Costco. You don't have to be a member, but you do pay a little more like $ 25.

I think it's nationwide, but limits the kind of clubs you can go to? Like I don't think you can use Southglenn or the other "SuperSports" locations?

Also, I think you're only supposed to be able to get that deal once and some clubs won't let you "renew" those through Costco again. I have done it twice for the kids, though, so I think it depends on the club and how much the managers care about enforcing the policy. The guy I talked with shrugged his shoulders and just created a new membership for both without batting an eye.
