Yeah, I said "Scammers" ... I'm sure these guys are just outside the legal definition of "scam" but just barely (and I still question the dispensation of their immortal souls over this kind of crap).

I get a lot of gun and gun accessory related spam. Lately I've been getting tons of emails from various companies selling "the latest innovation in concealed carry" ... "the revolutionary new holster that will change how the world CCWs" etc.

Short story is they're all either belly bands or variations on the old "Smart Carry" holster.

So out of curiosity I clicked on the order button on the last one I got (from a company called "Brave Response") to see how much these things cost (because of course they don't tell you the price up front ... nor at any point in their half hour rambling Stansberry Research style promotional video ... GOD I hate those). And they want $75!

Hell, you can buy a belly band from the Walmart web site for $7.76!


The only Bravery at Brave Response is the unmitigated gall to try to pass off a holster design that's been around for decades as "New, innovative and and revolutionary" and to charge more for it than I spent on the last custom leather molded holster I bought from Lobo Gun Leather.
