Default Snow blower, flat spots on the tires ?

    OK,
Today I broke out the snow blower to get it ready for clearing the driveway when we do get the white stuff.
I got it fueled up, got the oil drained & replaced (hadn?t done that in a couple of years) aired up the tires, a couple of PSI of leakage, and checked the tread depth.
When I engaged the drive and took it around the driveway to check out the drive belt still engaged properly, I noticed that there is a flat spot on the tires where they sat through the summer. They have “bump” when the tires rotate to that spot.

Strange, anybody else have this happen to them ?

Common for tires that sit stationary for a long period. Move it around occasionally so it doesn't sit on the same spot on the tires.

It should go away with time as long as the tires dont rest on the same place

Or put the chassis up on blocks so the weight isn't on the tires.

This...happens to trailer tires as well as they just sit.

Super common with cheap bias ply tires. If it really is an issue for you, air up the tires to max pressure and heat them up. Sun, hair drier. space heater. Even better if you can get them off the ground.

If none of the above works for you, you can just whip out your chainsaw and...

    wait...

    Uh, nevermind.
