Glock Slide

Is it possible to get a Glock 19 slide and put it on my 17 frame? I'm wanting to add a red dot, if possible.

Not without modifications. The lock up length is different between a 17 & 19.

But Glock has been nice enough to do it for you in the G45, essentially a 17 frame with a front serrated 19 length slide.

Companies such as ZEV may offer the components already modified to do such however, cant say for sure.

Short answer? No.

Long answer? Sell your G17 and buy a G19X.

Red dot? Take said 19X slide and have it RMR cut.

If you had a 3rd gen 19 i have a rmr cut slide i'd be happy to do something with towards a standard slide. Not a fan of RDS on hand guns.

I’m saving my pennies for the 43 slide and 17 frame.

No. The 19X is tan.
