    Default Boulder ban and "receivers"..

Based on what I have seen the Boulder ban only mentions complete firearms and not anything about receivers. Am I right in thinking I should still be able to buy a receiver seeing that they are logged in to the books as "other" as long as I do not build it in to a firearm while I wait out my remaining days in Boulder? Anyone with FFL knowledge on this?

Looking at a likely limited run Israeli FAL clone receiver that DSA will be putting out in the next few weeks.. 80% not an option.

Link? Also there are options for utilizing an AR lower that's not a semi auto. Such as installing an adj gas block, turn it off and go with a side charging BCG .

They just brought in a bunch of light barrel kits and over at the falfiles they posted some pics of Israeli profile barrels and some prototype receivers with the correct Israeli engraving on them. Should be available in a couple weeks.

True, would be the same as building a FAL and just not drilling the gas port in the barrel... for now. So the ability to build a rifle as a single shot supports my idea that buying a receiver should be perfectly legal.

Just build a AR without the scary features Boulder doesn't like. Use the thorsden stock to get rid of the pistol grip. Or SCR lower.

No gun store outside boulder will refuse to sell you a chunk of metal.

You can store it outside boulder and not break their silly laws till you move.

Ahh, my bad. Yeah I don't see why you couldn't buy a lower since you could technically build a compliant AR
