    I'd go with one of these products and load what ever had the better ballistics / expansion at close distance. Depending on how many rooms you need to shield, the cost could be as low as $2000. Small price to pay for peace of mind.

    Especially when you factor in IF..you were forced to defend family by use of a firearm. The odds of the opposing team using frangible ammo is less than zero.

    A kid in the old neighborhood worked for a ballistic gear company. He came over with a 4x8 sheet similar to one of the above products. I was impressed with the durability of it under small arms fire @ distances near & far. I heard some small pieces were used in an indoor area as insurance against items not entering an X-ring trap. Hypothetically.
