I went in there once; it was the fourth level of hell. I was never so happy to get out of a building; that place was horrifically bad. I can't believe anyone would want to waste their time walking through that maze.

I’ve never had anything against IKEA, or actually any thoughts about them whatsoever, good or bad. Now, the only thing that I do know about them is pretty damn cool.

You must have an astonishingly low threshold for things you don't like.

I've been there once. It was just like every other furniture store in existence and anyone who has ever complained about not being able to find their way out was just exaggerating for emphasis or lying.

So, you're saying maybe I shouldn't consult with the divorce lawyer after Mrs BG told me to go to Costco the day before Thanksgiving?

yeah, no... maybe if you compared it to every Mega-yuge Metro furniture store.... but come to small town, USA and you'll get a very different experience.

I haven't been in an IKEA in over a decade- because they don't give me a good reason to drive that far. I also don't like big cities.

I'm a rural person, so my "threshold for things I don't like" is crossed every time I drive into the metro area. Thankfully, I'm only seven years from retirement and buying my ranch in Wyoming.

I guess I haven't been in a lot of furniture stores; but I went over to American Furniture Warehouse to get the bed I needed, and it was easy. I never said I wasn't able find my way out; but I did embellish the annoyance of walking through that place, which is a pain in the ass and certainly not worth my time. I prefer a warehouse with signs on the ceiling so I can go straight to what I want and bypass all the shit that I don't care about.

I better make it clear that I didn't mean to imply that YOU said it was difficult to make it out. That was everyone else. My response to you also included everyone else who complains about that place. I didn't see what the big deal was myself. I must be pretty laid back, considering I ended up there by accident in the first place.
