What would happen in any large US city if the price of gasoline shot up to $7 per gallon while the price of oil has been on the decline? No better indication that the government is taxing the life out of the economy.
They eat snails don't they? I love French cuisine. French fries. Crepes. Chateaubriand. Don't forget French kisses. This forum is such a joy!
The French riot about as frequently as the Broncos lose a football game, nothing to see here.
The government should release the news that the rioters are going on strike to shut things down.

I'm not really dialed into anything French. Maybe coffee related stuff. But I see this as encouraging. If a country that likes Jerry Lewis and cycling that much can protest more taxes, I'm optimistic. Or this is the beginning of something bigger. This is the first I heard of it, thanks for posting.
$7 per gallon is nuts. But that tax doesnt go to transportation, it goes to pipe dreams.
