Default Well.... that was a hell of a ride.

    1st earthquake for me.
    7.0, epicenter very near me.
Couldnt walk across living room without holding on to walls. Was working way to front door to get out before house came down.... can not believe we do not even have any drywall cracks.
Kitchen cabinet doors swinging open and shut, completely dark, dishes and such crashing to floor, very, very intense.

    I have been through a couple, not a 7.0.
I guess Alaska is almost perfect

Talked with one of our guys in AK. He was pretty shook up about it (ha!).

I was in a ~4.0 once in Cali and it was amazing how disorienting it was. I was in my apt and thought maybe I was having a vasovagal syncope episode or something. One moment I was fine and the next my world is spinning. I didn't even think of it being an earthquake at the time, until I later realized.

    Can't imagine a 7.0

How was the second compared to the first? Did any Alaska shore lines end up getting any significant waves? I was thinking we had a member that moved to Alaska but couldn't remember who.

The 5.8 seemed like 1/3rd of what the 7.0 felt like. Don’t know about any waves, but the tsunami warning was cancelled pretty quick.
Lots of aftershocks.... nothing bad, but the “pucker factor” is strong.

Now you can get those little oval stickers with a number in the middle. Yours will just be 7.0 and 5.8 instead of 13.1 or whatever.
