I'm originally from Ft. Collins, but it got too big and I worked in N. Denver so we moved down here. We like it so far. More like Fort Collins used to be when we were growing up, now it's Boulder Jr.

Nice range just outside of longmont is Trigger time.

Also the LPD/BCSO range has some days open to the public.

Yeah, I know a guy in town who loves Trigger Time. That place is expensive, though. I should do the orientation and everything for the LPD range. There's talk of a range opening in the old quarry east of Lyons, but I would be surprised if the NIMBYs don't shut it down.

My range buddy still lives in Fort Collins so I'm considering joining either Front Range Gun Club or Liberty Firearms Institute so we've got a halfway point. That is, after I finish my pre-paid range sessions at Shooters Supply in Fort Collins. Definitely not as nice as a lot of ranges, but five prepaid range sessions is five prepaid range sessions, and they didn't mind when we accidentally went over our hour about 20 minutes on a quiet day.

I totally agree with too big. I grew up in Fort Collins. I can?t wait to get out. As soon as my son is 18 and out of high school.
The girlfriend and I both go to front range gun club. Great place and never too crowded to shoot
