Just bumping this thread up to say that, in response to the title of the thread, I now known someone in the garage door game. lol

I found a local guy who ended up not only being the cheapest by a long ways but could do the work in less than a week when the other local shops I got quotes from had me installing in February sometime. He was able to get the 8x8 door the next day and the supply shop he used could get him the 16x7 at the start of the following week. This was Christmas week mind you and I had both done and installed the day after Christmas which was about a week from my first contact with him. He installed some super nice 3-layer steel-backed R10+ doors for cheap.

These things are amazing and I only wish I had done this a lot sooner or even selected these doors when we first built the place. There's no doubt in my mind that we wouldn't have had to replace them if we started out with something this nice. They are super quiet and rock solid. Now I just need a warm spring day so I can get them painted up to match the house.

He installed the 16x7 for $950 when the best quotes I got was $1,285 plus tax installed for similar doors and he installed the 8x8 for $500 which was about half of the other quotes I was getting which was $985 plus tax. His prices were out the door and he was able to install within a week whereas the other quotes I got were needing over a month to get the doors in.

If anyone in the Northern Colorado area needs some garage door work I'd give Jarrod a call at (970) 420-9987 and tell him Jeremy sent ya and he'll take care of you. Good dude that was super nice and very professional. His work is top notch and was the cheapest I could find by a fair bit too.
