I like winchester & federal over CCI, especially for pistol. But that's my preference for what's worked for me.

7n6 become banned because of the pistol sbr work around. It's illegal to import armor piercing ammo for pistols

It dents ar500 steel better than 308 or ss109.

I believe it's moving at approx 2-300 fps faster then the ss109.

Would 7n6 *actually* pierce hard plates from a pistol?

Or is the standard soft armor?

I don't know about a pistol but XM193 55 gr FMJ 5.56 cuts through level three body armor like a needle.
