The more these comedians are now becoming political, the fewer I am becoming fans of.
"But when it's time to fight, you fight like you are the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's Ark; and brother, it's startin' to rain."
Comedy has been political since its inception. Watch Lenny Bruce, Tom Lehrer, Franklyn Ajai, Mort Sahl, Flip Wilson, Pryor, Moms Mabley, Dick Gregory to name a few.
ETA: If you can find it The Watermelon Man with Godfrey Cambridge . Picture Archie Bunker waking up black, made in 1970

The Great Kazoo's Feedback
"when you're happy you enjoy the melody but, when you're broken you understand the lyrics".
I guess I don't watch enough of it to know. The example I was thinking of was George Lopez. I used to love watching his shows but the last few, he lost a fan. I refuse to watch anything he is in.
D.L. Hughley - I get a kick out of his old stuff.
Rodney Carrington - Saw him at the Budweiser Event Center and he really puts on a show.
Chris D'Elia - YouTube videos were better than his actual show
Felipe Esparza - Only listened to his stuff from 2012 that's pretty good
Local Stand up - I have a friend that puts on local stand up comedians at High Hops Brewey in Windsor that I have enjoyed. Some are better than others but it's a free even with good beer.

I stopped watching Dr Who this season a couple episodes in. Just couldn't take the heavy anti gun, must-be-inclusive-or-you're-a-racist BS. Same for the X-Files with their anti-Trump drivel. Lost late night interest long ago and SNL hasn't been funny since like 2001.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."
When I was vacationing in Florida, the TV provider had a station that played the old Johnny Carson shows. I think it was Cox.
I enjoyed watching his humor and it seemed like the interviews were funnier, even now.
I quit watching the Late Show with David Letterman when he seemed to become "meaner" with guests than humorous.
Jay Leno was okay, but he seemed more frivolous than entertaining after a few years.
After the change of people on all the night shows, I started watching the documentaries and gave up on humor.
Bah, Humbug!
I love Ron White, and use his line about 'the scene of the crash' all the time.
Also loved season 1 of the The Chapelle Show.
So I guess my comedy tastes stopped evolving in the early 2000s.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
