You are probably right.
Now I know better.
I wish there was a way to buy only oil from companies that will help bring the price down. But the simple fact the only way to bring down the cost of gas is by not driving. If you don't fill up your not sending them money and the only way to get around that is by not driving. That should help if enough people do it. And if you kill hippies driving up the cost.

Crude oil price goes up/down based on the supply/demand at a trading floor. Of course damn OPEC controls majority of supply on an inelastic commodity.
Therefore, best way is to unsupport OEPC is to:
-Carpool
-public transportation
-plan trips ahead
- save save save on gas.
didn't you get the memo?
us going to Iraq and Afghanistan was about oil.
we'll be getting free oil any minute now....

I think it's time to expect that gas prices will continue to go up. Even if there wasn't the CO2 emissions thing, just the fact that it's constantly getting more difficult to get to oil, and the fields where we use to get it easily are drying up, coupled with the surge in demand from China means you have to expect it to increase. It means we're all going to have to really consider what the next vehicle we buy is. My Jeep only gets about 17mpg so it's something to consider. My daily driver Subaru doesn't do a whole lot better, 23-25 depending on how I'm driving it.
I agree. I also believe that 80% of statistics are made up on the spot.
Far out man!
Yup, but don't be in a big hurry for it cuz I'm still waiting for my free house and car payments since Obama was elected to Office.
