Hmm I don?t see that one on my calendar. My calendar even has stuff like Frog Jumping Day, Jelly Bean Day, and Pi Day.

I always thought 9/11 would be a national holiday.

But as an LEO and veteran...not speaking for everyone....I really hate when people come up to thank me for my service. I always feel weird right when I take a bite out of a cheeseburger at lunch and some line has formed to thank me. I'm trying to be polite back spitting chunks of burger on them while answering my radio for an injury car accident.

But really. Their hearts are in the right place. I just don't like that much attention. Not sure if the others feel that way.

And yes the ".... Day" every day of the year is way overdone. We used to just call those days weekdays.

Looks like National Missing Children?s day falls on a Saturday this year so we won?t have to skip work to celebrate.

That's so it's easier to organize search parties for cold cases.

Not a Federal Holiday in the traditional sense, but last I knew we were calling Sept 11th Patriot Day.
