    Default General vehicle thread

Why tie up liquid funds into a depreciating asset? Invest some or most to make money and finance at a low rate by just using 20% down (lots of people know more about this than me so it's not advice just a suggestion to research)...I know some people still prefer to pay cash for cars. If that's your jam then save on my friend!

Not feeling the c8 personally. I find people either love it or hate it. I havnt seen many comments in between. What about it do you like?

This is not a finance thread but suggesting that financing ANYTHING (let alone a depreciating liability) so you can take a risk with your "liquid" assets is not something someone with any sort of financial independence would recommend. Take the sure thing by paying cash and THEN investing your "liquid" cash each month. This is a FAR better play won't leave you standing in the rain when the economy shits the proverbial bed.

Back on topic, the C8 is a MUCH needed rejuvenation. The platform will be great for when they start throwing some real power plants behind it. The whole engine in the front and ancient motors thing is

I sure as hell wouldn't be chomping at the bit to buy the first model year of the C8. I'm sure they'll learn a few things once they're being driven on a larger scale. 2023 sounds about right.

Other than safety issues, does anyone have any preference over using propane or starting fluid to check for vacuum line leaks?

I always used starting fluid, you have better directional control with it for checking a specific area.
