The left side was actually probably okay. The right side had probably close to a quarter inch of play. I could use my fingers and rattle it around in most directions once I had it disconnected from the spindle.

    FYI. It?s a 2010 Ram 1500 with about 120K miles.

Post pics if you get a chance, I was wanting to get the quick lifts for the front of my Xterra, but once I realized I had a broken leaf and had to drop $$ on those, I went with the cheaper option of Bilstein 5100's and just wrestled with the stock coils.

    Default General vehicle thread

Posted another Pic in the latest purchase thread, but I've done a couple other things since.

Old man Emu rear springs providing 1.5-2" of lift.

Front Bilstein adjustable shocks set at 1.5"

Added a roof basket up top.

Used some plastic restore to get the plastic looking new again.

IMO it doesn't look lifted, but it now has a stance that I feel the Pro4x should have had from the factory, similar to the mild boost the 4runner TRD Pro comes with. All Xterra's are a bit low from the factory IMO, when you consider they are quite capable on the trail.

I liked your Xterra, was set up well.

I really want to do 33's, but the size I want (255/85-16) are very limited for options, the 285's are a bit wider than I want, but I may end up with them next time around, just a tough decision because we travel a bit in the X.

It really doesn?t look any different. I was worried that since my truck already sat pretty level before that it might sit a little nose high. During the strut replacement I found that the previous owner had installed some 2? lift blocks on top of the factory struts. Ride height is the same now as before I replaced everything.

    Here?s a before picture.

    And here it sits now.

Looks good, any difference in ride quality?

Also, the spots in the driveway in the bottom picture are from one of my wife?s friends. She comes to visit on Wednesdays and parks in the driveway.

What does everyone think about whether I should say something or not?

None of my vehicles leak anything but before you know it I?ll have a rather large oil stain in my driveway from her parking her crappy Toyota Camry there.
