Blocks RFID in passports. It sits closed when inserted in a passport pouch
Copper conductive/ shielding tape... I've bins full.

I've always been told that the front and back cover of the passport are RF shields so the NFC chip can't be read unless the passport is open.
That would make sense. So I just tried reading my passport. Can't read anything from the front side, but I can read it through the back cover (using a Andriod utility on my phone - it knows it's a passport, but I don't see any data).
Typical half-a$$ed government job. Protect the front gate, leave the back door wide open.

My passport card arrived today. Apparently it has the government tracking chip in it too.
