There are more cats around than people think, especially the front range. North table has a couple that keeps the deer herd in check.

Denver zoo has a great picture outside the mountain lion exhibit - I think it's of a mother and child getting the typical tourist picture taken, and in the grass behind them is a mountain lion - probably eyeing the child.

I guess it wasn't until they looked at the picture later that they noticed the lion.

The VPC and Gabby Giffords have denounced the killing as senseless. Wanting to know why the jogger couldn't have called 911 instead.
